Within Tomintoul village we have a Museum featuring history past and a seasonal tourist office, Post Office, Art Galleries , Whisky Shop, Hotels, Restaurants and Gift shops. We also have our very own Whisky Distillery. The Malt Whisky capital Dufftown is 19 miles away and en route is the Glenlivet Distillery.

On the 3rd Saturday in July Tomintoul hosts its own Highland Games attracting visitors worldwide with its Highland dancing and piping bands etc.

Tomintoul is a walker's paradise with extensive trails in the surrounding countryside. The Speyside Way Long Distance Path has a terminus here.
